The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is a safe and caring environment offering nutritional, educational, social and referral services to persons of all ages and cultures in Newport County. The Center promotes personal growth opportunities leading to self-sufficiency.

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center will nurture and advance the potential of all who avail themselves of its unique range of services and programs. All who enter will leave educated, empowered and ready to lead lives of personal satisfaction and with an appreciation of and desire to participate positively in the community.
