Children's Programs

98 children participated in the K-5 After-School Program.
42 children ages 5-12 attended the Summer Camp.
104 children were enrolled in both programs (unduplicated count).
78 received full or partial DHS support (75% of children enrolled for the year).
10 children were enrolled via scholarships from various sources.
97% of children enrolled in our summer camp increased or maintained their reading levels ofver the summer (85% increased and 12% maintained)- giving us the best results in the city for the fifth straight year.

Providing a wide range of literacy and math skill development activities, plus homework help, art, music, dance, and science workshops, and plenty of exposure to community resources.
