Get Involved

We need YOUR help…

There are many ways you can get involved at the MLK Community Center.  If you love children, consider becoming a homework helper or sharing one of your passions with a group of students.  If you’re that high energy, passionate person who loves to organize their friends around a needed cause, consider organizing a food drive.  If you love working one-on-one with people, consider volunteering in our client choice food pantry.  Whether you’re part of a group or love working solo, we can find a project to fit your personality.  Please call Bea Brush at 401-846-4828 x 100 to volunteer for any of our Hunger Service projects, Jeanine Richardson at x117 to volunteer in our After School or Summer Camp Programs, and Alyson Novick at x102 if you have an idea for a service project that you would like to discuss with a staff member.

Thanks to all of the hundreds of volunteers who help us yearly.  We couldn’t do it without you!
